Tutor with us

Paying students, fees collected before the lesson so you never chase anyone, and you set your own rate. We find the families; you teach.

What happens after you apply

You set your own rate for each subject. We find the families and handle the booking, the payment and the record-keeping; you are paid by mobile money after each lesson. Our share is a percentage of each lesson, and you are told it in full before you accept a place — there is never anything to pay us, and nothing is taken from you up front.

  1. We call you

    A short conversation about what you teach and when you are free.

  2. We check your documents

    National ID, your qualifications, and a letter from a current or former employer.

  3. We check your teaching

    A few steps we will walk you through, so we can see how you work. Most applications are decided within a week.

  4. You go live

    Your profile appears to parents. Booking requests reach you by Telegram or SMS, and you accept or decline them from your lessons page.

MTN or Airtel. This is also the number we pay you on, so it must be registered in your name.

Added to your rate when a parent chooses an in-home lesson. Put 0 to charge the same.

Be specific. "Three years teaching S1–S4 maths at Kira SS" tells us far more than "many years of experience".

This is the answer we read most closely.

Clear phone photos are fine. JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 10MB each. We still sight the originals when we meet you — this just speeds your vetting up. How we hold them: privacy policy.
